A space for random moments, memories, and little proofs of life.
Not Your Windows 7 Wallpaper

I promise this isn’t a default desktop background. Just another day in Seattle where the architecture looks like it was rendered for a sci-fi movie. Between the Space Needle and the MoPOP, it’s hard to tell if I’m in 2026 or a Windows 7 concept art folder.
The Jewel Rain Vortex

No matter how hectic the week gets, I always find the Rain Vortex incredibly relaxing after a long day of work. There’s something about the sound of the water and the shift in lights that just hits the reset button.
The World’s Finest Golden Hour

They say no two sunsets are the same, but Boracay seems to win the competition every single night. There’s a reason this is called the best sunset in the world. 🌅⛵️
Follow Drone

Captured by the HoverAir X1 Pro on the slopes of Mount Mayon Volcano, this moment perfectly reflects the thrill of the ride — fast, raw, and surrounded by nature. It’s the kind of trail memory that brings together adventure, motion, and the beauty of the outdoors.
Turquoise Days in the Maldives

A beautiful moment captured in the Maldives in 2025, where the sky met the sea in endless shades of blue. Surrounded by crystal-clear water and island calm, this was one of those memories that felt peaceful, timeless, and unforgettable.
The View That Never Gets Old

From Level 33 in Singapore, this skyline never fails to impress. With the city lights reflecting across Marina Bay and the iconic landmarks standing proudly against the night sky, it’s a view that remains timeless no matter how many times you see it.
Mountain Biking 05.2025

Aside from technology, one of the passions I rediscovered during the COVID years was mountain biking. What started as a way to get outside, clear my mind, and stay active quickly became something more meaningful—a chance to reconnect with adventure, challenge myself, and appreciate the simple joy of being on the trail. Mountain biking has since become one of my favorite pastimes, giving me the perfect balance to the fast-paced world of tech and serving as a reminder that sometimes the best resets happen far away from the screen.
A Long Time Ago, in a Prefecture Far, Far Away…

“I Love You.” — “I Know (Where the Best View Is).”
From the Millennium Falcon to Mount Fuji. Han and Leia taking a well-deserved break in the Land of the Rising Sun. ❤️🗻✨
Dream Build

Finished the “Goldie Project”—named after our ever loyal pup who was with us for 15 wonderful years. 🐕
Running a full Öhlins suspension setup, clean cockpit, wireless components, and gold i9 wheelset accent to tie it all together. This thing is finally ready to eat roots and rocks in his honor. 🤘
Morning Serenity 🌅

Caught the first light at Masbates’ Buntod Sandbar, and honestly, the camera doesn’t even do it justice. There’s nothing like watching the world wake up from the middle of the ocean.

Eid Mubarak

This photo was taken in Brunei during Eid Mubarak 2019 – captured just before sunrise, the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque stood beautifully against the soft morning sky. A peaceful and unforgettable Eid moment in Brunei, filled with reflection, gratitude, and serenity.
Farewell LGP (1946 – 2021)

Taken in 2019, this photo captures one of my favorite moments after deplaning at Legazpi Airport seeing Mayon Volcano rise in the background like a familiar old friend. LGP was never just an airport to me—it was part of the welcome, part of the memory, and part of what made every trip to Bicol feel special. With the opening of Bicol International Airport in October 2021, Legazpi Airport was finally retired, closing a chapter that many travelers had grown up with. Some places may be replaced by something newer, but they never really leave the heart.
Siargao State of Mind

I rolled into Siargao feeling reasonably prepared after spending time on the artificial wave, thinking I at least had a fighting chance on a real surfboard. The ocean, however, quickly and very humbly informed me that practice is one thing and standing up in actual surf is another. After enough failed attempts to bruise both my ego and my balance, I accepted defeat, embraced island life, and wisely downgraded my ambitions to a longboard. Turns out, a little more board under your feet can do wonders for both confidence and dignity.
Me, Trying to Convince My Instructor That We Can Ride a Surfboard

Back in 2018, while getting ready for my surfing trip to Siargao, Philippines, I had the idea of trying out my new surfboard on the wake just to get a feel for it before hitting real waves. I was not entirely sure it would work, and I am pretty sure my instructor had every reason to doubt the plan, but that only made it more fun to try. It was one of those random but memorable moments where curiosity, excitement, and a little stubbornness came together—proof that sometimes the best part of an adventure starts before the actual trip even begins.
2017 – 2018 MVP Award Kit

The last one I received in a journey that started in 2008, will always hold a special place for me. It serves as a quiet reminder of a chapter filled with learning, sharing, and being surrounded by people who were passionate about technology and community. Being part of the Microsoft MVP program was a privilege I will always be thankful for, and this kit represents not just recognition, but also the experiences, friendships, and opportunities to give back along the way.
The T3 Vantage Point

One of the best hotel room views I’ve ever had. Back when this was the Remington (now the Holiday Inn Express), it was my go-to spot for a stress-free departure from NAIA Terminal 3. There’s something therapeutic about finishing up work with a front-row seat to the tarmac. The best part? No Manila traffic to worry about—I just had my coffee, watched the planes line up, and walked right across the Runway Manila bridge to catch my flight.
Trooper in a Board Meeting

Board meeting is the best meeting. Back in 2017, wakesurfing became one of my favorite ways to unplug and recharge aside from a hectic data center deployment project that kept me fully engaged at work. Out on the water, everything felt lighter—just the wake, the ride, and a much-needed reminder to enjoy the moment. This “Trooper in a Board Meeting” memory captures that balance perfectly: working hard, finding time to breathe, and making space for a little fun along the way.
VF-1 Valkyrie

Building this kit takes me back to my childhood and the unforgettable memories of the Macross series.
Batanes: Not Just a Google Search

As they say in the movies, “Batanes is meant to be experienced, not just Googled.” Standing here at the [Vayang Rolling Hills], I finally understand why. This place doesn’t just look like a movie set; it feels like a different world entirely.
Morning Surf

When in Siargao, if you ask me to choose between my morning coffee or surfing… well, let’s just say the Pacific provides a much better wake-up call than an espresso ever could.
Hey R2!

Spotted at Narita Airport, this special ANA livery instantly stood out like a familiar droid from a galaxy far, far away. A fun and unforgettable aviation moment for both travelers and Star Wars fans alike.
A Jump to Remember

High above the North Shores of Hawaii, this was one of those unforgettable moments where adrenaline, freedom, and breathtaking scenery all came together at once. A leap like this is more than just a thrill — it becomes a memory that stays with you for life.
Aurora Borealis at Fairbanks

Location: Aurora Borealis Lodge, Cleary Summit
They say Alaska doesn’t give up its secrets easily. I flew from Seattle for a quick two-night mission in Fairbanks, staying at the Aurora Borealis Lodge. Night one was a total washout with heavy clouds, but night two? Nature absolutely delivered. Standing under this green fire made every mile of the trip worth it. There’s a reason this spot on Cleary Summit is world-famous for northern lights—sometimes you just have to wait for the sky to open up.
Who Wouldn’t Stop for This Shot?

Captured at Microsoft HQ in Redmond, WA. When you’re standing in front of one of the most iconic landmarks in tech, posing for a photo feels almost mandatory.
Tell Me You’re in Paris Without Telling Me You’re in Paris

Just a casual morning view of the Trocadéro. No landmarks necessary (mostly).

but it’s still mandatory to post the Iron Lady.
Game On

A moment of pure focus, fast feet, and fierce competition on the pitch.
My Lara Croft Moment

Channeling my inner Tomb Raider at the incredible Angkor Wat. No secret artifacts found yet, but the views are definitely worth the trek.
