Availability
If you have downloaded and installed the ConfigMgr technical preview branch, sooner or later you’ll get a notification that a new version is available for install.
Note: Make sure that all Technical Preview versions are only to be used in your lab or isolated environment, in other words, don’t use them in your production environment!

In this case, ConfigMgr 1910 Technical Preview now out! It should appear in the Administration > Updates and Servicing

When you view the status, you’ll get a detailed status of the Update Pack, Installation… when until the download is complete and start installation.

Back in the Administration workspace, go ahead and install the 1910 Technical Preview.
New Features in ConfigMgr TP 1910
When you click on the Features tab, you’ll see all the features name available for ConfigMgr TP 1910

Below are the lists of the features with their links from the Technical preview for Configuration Manager page:
- Deploy Microsoft Edge, version 77 and later
- Include custom configuration baselines as part of compliance policy assessment
- Improvements to application groups
- Reclaim SEDO lock

Installation of ConfigMgr TP 1910

Lets go through the ConfigMgr Updates Wizard and complete the installation… in the General, tick the Prerequisite warnings [/] box and click on Next >

In the Features, it’s pre-selected just click on Next >

In the Client Update Settings, select Update without validation then click on Next >

In the Confirm the Settings click on Next > to proceed the installation

Click close to close the wizard.

After you close the wizard the installation will still be running in the background. You can check back in the ConfigMgr console.

The final task is where the ConfigMgr Console gets upgraded as well, the current console will automatically close and after the installation is completed the new SCCM Console will automatically launch.

Congratulations, you are now in Configuration Manager technical preview 1910. Watch out for the production version soon.
